Don't you have to be a member of the group to view it?

Wow, some people are just sad. I feel sorry for the people who got taken. Good thing the guy is an idiot and couldn't get the right font for the tag. I wonder if anyone reported him to ebay and ANACS.

This seller has many more ANACS slabs for sale. Is there anyway to prove they are fake without having them in hand?

Tights24, it is pretty easy to prove they are fake without having them in hand- the reverse ANACS logo is a sticker, not the proper hologram. Of couse, unless you know that a real ANACS slab has a hologram logo, it could be easy to get fooled. The seller is in China so I would assume that the coin is fake as well

Thanks Bio. I think I have a slab burried somewhere. I'll have to dig it out and compare. I guess I was wondering more if the "layout" of the sticker is identical to the hologram. If it is, depending on the lighting and angle and such, it would be hard to tell a hologram from a sticker? I just don't want to report and have them be the real thing....

I noticed several Trade dollars over the last week that were in "ANACS" slabs with low bid amounts. Opening the auction revealed the location to be China. That was enough to keep me from bidding. This is bad, but I am also concerned about the people that buy these things. Some of them will be trying to pass the buck, so to speak, & the location won't be a tip-off anymore.

I would not be so sure that it is a sticker and not a hologram unless you have seen one in hand. Photographing it at the proper angle can make the hologram stand out boldly like that.
However it IS a fake slab. The font used on the ANACS on the back is not quite right (On the genuine slab the Cis more open and the tail of the S is further from the body of the S), and the point where the inner A in the logo meets the C in ANACS is not in the right place.

No doubt they are working to correct the problem. The next generation of fake ANACS slabs will have a some kind of hologram instead of a sticker. I suspect fake PCGS and NGC slabs are in the pipeline as well.
