I wanted to know what type of doubling does this coin show? Also why do the 6's in the date look different? Am I looking too hard? Thanks!

Date looks like it was a minor re-punch. The rest of the doubling is what is known as "Longacre's Doubling" common on coins from this era, like Indian cents, it is believed it is caused by die erosion and burnishing of the die. There are a couple of posts here on CCF that go into it better than I can:

Longacre doubling is not caused by die erosion.

Thanks for the clarification, most likely caused by the hubbing process? Seems Rick Snow's photo on one of the links I put up sort of shows how it could have happened during the hubbing process. Almost like a bit of a shoulder around the legend lettering.
