Hi, I just got two rolls of these 1970s penny's and would like your opinion about them. It seem to me that all of them do not have polls holding the roof up? Is there something more? Your input will be appreciated. Thank you.

Maybe error, maybe PMD. I don't know!

It is probably not PMD, it was probably caused by over-polishing of the die. Nice find

I think he high tailed it out of there... The roof has no support... I wouldnt sit there either

Never saw one like that before.

Lincoln seems to be missing too but that could be due to the brightness of the photo.

Keeper. Might not be worth anything but it is interesting.

I've seen people call them Floating Roofs, as to rarity and value, the experts can chime in for you there. Nice Find!

Over polished die.Note the columns narrow towards the top. Not much added value.

i just checked my full roll of,1970-s,pennies ,and..all 50 coins have same things like yours

I agree with over polished dies.I think it is cool looking and would keep it. Try selling one on the bay and see how it goes.If it gets a good price sell more of them.
