I was sifting through hundreds of foreign coins when I ran across a blank planchet. It seems to be a metal other than copper and weighs exactly 3 grams. The diameter is about 1.75 cm or .75 inches. Can anybody tell me where this is from? Any possible denomination?
Thanks!

We'd have to see pictures. And even then it seems near impossible to take a guess. You should send it my way so I can get a closer look.

Well I don't know how much pics will help since there is no design on the coin . I just thought there would be some guide to the weights or diameters of coins.

It could be 1 of a thousand different designs fitting that description. I could do some research to narrow it down but honestly it'd be frivolous.

Nice find though!
I've looked thru thousands of coins and have never seen one from another country.

I cant say. I am not old enough to know that but I do remember the soda machines that cost a dime for a bottle of soda.

I'm pretty sure that it isn't because it has the raised rim edges... I've been looking for some reference but I can't find anything.
