Blank Foreign Planchet - Coin Community Forum

madhandles761991 Pillar of the Community United States 577 Posts	Posted 06/11/2007 12:34 am I was sifting through hundreds of foreign coins when I ran across a blank planchet. It seems to be a metal other than copper and weighs exactly 3 grams. The diameter is about 1.75 cm or .75 inches. Can anybody tell me where this is from? Any possible denomination? Thanks! I could do some research to narrow it down but honestly it'd be frivolous. Nice find though! I've looked thru thousands of coins and have never seen one from another country.
