Always thought these were a bit tricky.

I am horrible at these but I will give it a shot:

#1 Low VF

#2 F (possible VF)

#2 I think is a weak strike (I find grading these have always been tricky)

#1 VF20
#2 F12. The obverse and reverse look really porous with corrosion, possible it doesn't have a grade at all and just details.

Coin #1 VF20
Coin #2 VG10 (although the reverse is stronger)

Both very nice and valuable
(which I'm sure you already know)

#1) VF30 looks pretty nice can still see a full WE so I think it's a hair away from an EF grade.

#2) VF details - Don't know if PCGS labels the reason like ANACS does but it's probably for either the Corrosion and/or a possible cleaning attempt?

Still neat pieces, check the first one for a DDO, I can't quite tell in the larger images, but the motto may be a doubled one, an added extra bonus if it is!

On the first, I going to guess they graded it VF-25. The second I am going to say it has F-15ish details possibly because of environmental damage and/or cleaning.

@westcoin: PCGS labels the problem if it has filed rims or if it's holed/plugged otherwise it gets one of their numerical codes.

Edit: I forgot to mention they will also label it if there is damage.

Thanks I knew they did the code for the issue, but I've had two PCGS coins I've sold recently one was holed and plugged and the other said surface damage on the label. Wasn't sure if they were labeling the actual problems now - so they would not label "corrosion", only in a numerical code in the ID line? Seems strange not to just label on the slab in plain english what sort of problem the coin has, other than genuine not gradable then list the archaic code only.

You nailed them both Westcoin, haven't had the chance to see if the motto is doubled on the first one.

I believe my pictures make the coins look a bit more rough than they are....especially #2
