Very strong CCW rotated hub doubling shows on the entire reverse. The doubling is centered on the steps, so the doubling at the top of the design is much stronger than at the bottom of the design.

With ANACS doing its fall promo, I have about 8 of these, and I will send them in, along with a handful of DDO's from 1972. The 1964 is a good year for the DDR, There are at least 3 varieties. I think the CherryPickers Guide has most of these near 30-50 bucks each - If the lower building has doubling, then its probably closer to 50.00 .

This variety at one time was a $300 coin. The finding of many examples has made this coin fall in value. So if someone find many examples of a desired variety, sit on them and don't flood the market and bottom out the prices.

Sorry. I had this coin mixed up with another coin post Albert.
The above information was for the 1956 D and S slab you posted earlier.

Thank you for the comments. Coin collecting, if your buying, it's a good time for prices have fallen on many interesting varieties and hard to find grades. Christmas will drive prices up, but because money is worth less; coins are good buys now.
