I missed out on a RPD Liberty nickel a couple nights ago but I did manage to snag an upgrade for my "cleaned" Arrows & Rays Half Dollar. Just wanted to see what the CCF Members have to say in comparison to the PCGS graders.

Thanks for your interest!

The wear on the body is more typical of a VF20 - the face and liberty are better than that. Talons and wingtips on the reverse are typical of a 35.

I'm going to say 30.

PCGS VF30. The obverse does look 25 but the eye appeal is very good.

VF-30 although VF-35 wouldn't be a surprise. Since PCGS tends to be a bit conservative with their grades I'm guessing VF-30.

VF35 & super close to an EF grade, but just a hair shy of it I think. Very neat variety the arrow and rays is!

This one seems to be between VF35 to XF40. You have shown many coins bought then upgraded, it looks like you have the resources to make purchases to add to your collection. I would look for upgrades that will be my final addition to my set and not ones that will be upgraded again. You have the passion but I feel you are pulling the trigger on coins that you will want to up grade again. Go for the best quality you can get and accept none less. This will still improve your set and in the end create a truly awesome collection.

I appreciate all opinions and encourage them in the future as well. Excuse me while I get another coin ready for US Classic Coin Grading that is soon on its way.
