Walking Liberty Half Dollar Grading 1945

rjene New Member United States 20 Posts	Posted 09/27/2013 6:51 pm I have some coins my father left me after his moving on to a brighter place. This one is a walking Liberty dated 1945. Dad was a coin collector so he always kept his coins in plastics/sheets/etc. This one does have tape residue on it but as I have read, I should not clean it. tpg22 Pillar of the Community United States 919 Posts	Posted 09/27/2013 7:09 pm From what I see I would put the coin at EF45 to maybe AU50. It is an S minted coin so it could be a weak strike and that is why the Eagle feathers are not a little more bold. Chances are some guys would use an Acetone bath to deal with the tape.
