I just picked up a pitcairn islands .999 round. It's a 2010 year of the tiger and looks like this:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Silver-coin...047675.l2557

I think it's really cool and I bought it for $21. It doesn't have the case or anything but it still seems like a steal of a deal. I can't decide if I'm going to sell it or keep it. It looks amazing, but my car has a failing engine...

Anyway, for now I'm keeping it. It has the deepest DCAM of anything I own. I'll get a video up soon showing some new things I have gotten.

These sorts of pad printed bullion coins sell new from the numismatic retailers at around the $80 to $100 in Australia.
If you have to re sell it, perhaps it may ebay at around $50 to $60.

That's one reason why I am never interested in buying them as new issues, but at $21, it seems as if you have been a little lucky.

Pitcairn Island is supposedly where Fletcher Christian landed the Bounty and lived the rest of their lives out. Inhabitants there are believed to be the decendents of the Bounty crew.
