Poll Question
The question is: If the government brings back the $500 bill, and wants to keep the William McKinley designs, but wants to bridge that gap between the $100 bill, and the $500 bill with a $200 bill, who do you want on the $200 bill?

At first, I was all for Theodore Roosevelt, until I heard a few reasons of why so many people think Ronald Reagan was so great and should be on a coin or bill, so I kind of think now, that maybe Reagan should go on the $200 bill if we issue one. Maybe its time for a more "modern" president on a bill.

But what should go on the reverse of a Ronald Reagan $200 bill?

I had a Mount Rushmore themed reverse planned for a Theodore Roosevelt $200 bill, but I'm not sure what should go on the back of a Ronald Reagan $200 bill. Any ideas?

Poll Choices
 A Ronald Reagan $200 bill.
 A Theodore Roosevelt $200 bill.
 I don't care either way.
 I don't want a $200 bill.
A $200 bill would be too confusing.
I want a $200 bill regardless of whether they bring back the $500 bill or not.
 Other (Please explain)

Do we need a $200 bill? Maybe. Do we need a $500.00 bill? Same answer. Do I want to see new bills? Yes I do. I want to see any new bills or coins that the BEP or US Mint wants to put out there.

The more denominations we have the more we have to collect. I'm not saying I could collect a huge pile of $200 or $500 bills, but the chance to find one with an error or nice serial number is always a reason to see them printed.

Another thing about the $500 bill is that it will be AU or better because it's not going to be a big billfold place holder.

If I ever had one, it would be on it's way from my hands to a bill collector's hands, but I would check it from top to bottom.

I'd love to go buy a car with a stack of $500s.

I don't think you'd ever see one at 7-11, but I can see the ATMs in Las Vegas kicking them out all day and night. That was the only time I requested $200 from my checking account and the ATM went "Click Click" and then printed my receipt.

I'm sure Vegas would LOVE to see $500 bills. That way, as you spend your kid's collage fund, your mind would be telling you "Hey it was only 10 bills that the ATM spit out last time, and the 3 times before that, how can it say INSUFFICIENT FUNDS?!?

Let me hit the lottery and all I'll carry is my American Express Black card and a wad of $500s.

Ah, the dreams...

I thought you were trying to get coins to replace bills.

Which side of the fence are you playing?

Until the fictitious "War On Drugs", I mean tax payer funded government job creation stimulus package ends you will never see any form of US legal tender over $100 to limit hoarding if untaxed funds.

Until inflation has reached the point to where you need $160 to buy a soda at the convenience store, I see no practical need or use for a $200 bill so I'm not going to cast a vote.

And at that point in time, Mickey Mouse or Daffy Duck or even Ronald McDonald would be suitable for a portrait as that our money would be more of a joke then than it is now.

He wants to shift the decimal point, as do I (the dime is the new cent, the dollar is the new dime).

I am not sure if larger bills will see significant use in the age of plastic, but I can see why some big spenders would prefer them.
