Thanks guys! I agree, for a business strike it's stunning. If it looks this good in hand it will be the best looking Lincoln I have by far. I plan on sending it in but not sure where I want to send it yet. If I can get a few more coins together I'd like to send it to PCGS. I have another LWC I have been thinking about sending in, and I could always send in my 2013 ASE west point set but I like the OGP.. So we will see.
I would be thrilled to death if it did end up being a top pop coin.

Awesome coin. If anyone could kindly articulate what makes a proof a proof (especially with older coins, as I'm not sure what to look for) that would be fantastic, as I don't know the difference either. I saw the link to PSGS posted above, but I'm not a member, so I can't see it.

Proofs are not intended for circulation. They are struck on special planchets, with special dies, and are struck more than once.

Here are two proofs from the PCGS link.

Definitely not a proof. The master hub was re-done in 1916 so all MS coins have nice detail.

MS-64BN and it might even land in a 58 holder if you submit. The right wheat shows rub on the lines and the rims indicate a bit of wear. Still, a nice toner!
