Aluminum Lincoln Cent

jk

Probably one of my morgans or ASEs. I don't have any high end coins yet

Sentimental? Probably my first coin, 1941 Mercury dime I got while I was a teller. Its what started the research that brought me here and got me started!

I think my interest in coin collection immediately followed my interest and potential for profit in silver. As soon as I found out some coins prior to 64' were comprised of silver it was game on!

Monetarily: My 2006 1 oz. Gold Buffalo. Sentimentally: a nicely toned Morgan dollar that belonged to my mom and to her mom before her.

A slightly scratched Maria Theresa Thaler given to me by my grandfather, still in its little presentation box. Not quite the most valuable in my collection (I have very few coins that I paid over $10 for), but the sentimental value pushes it over the edge.

Wait, there's also the Canadian gold 50-cent hummingbird I got for my birthday.

Hey, how come this is in the American forum?

The 1896 quarter I've kept with a military challenge coin that I've kept in my wallet. This coin I've taken to the deepest parts of the ocean a manned-submarine is capable of going. And when in foreign ports in a bar, if someone whips out a challenge coin i.e. slams it on a table, those without pay all around drinks!

Sentimental are definitely the world coins I have that my dad brought me back as a kid. Theyre extra special to me since I know theyve all traveled across the world in a sub.

No numismatic value, all I have is in PM value. But, it depends on if you believe online price guides. According to one guide, if all my proof coins grade out to PR70, I have a few coins worth $20 on paper.

A 1938 MS63 Canadian dollar coin. Most sentimental is an 1887 Morgan dollar.

1897 O Morgan. Not graded but probably AU55-AU58
Unless some of my ungraded proof Kennedy's and Ike's are PF69 or PF70, instead of the lower grade I assume they are.
