I obviously understand this has been cleaned. But what kind of details grade would you give on this?

how bad did I overpay? The biggest thing I don't understand still is how to price coins I am buying. I usually use Numismedia as a gage as to what the max I should pay for something. Something like this coin said AU50 was in the $20 range so figuring it was cleaned I would have thought $12 to 14 would be fair. Any advice? Thanks!

If you are limited as to how much you want or can pay for a coin, instead of getting an AU coin that has been cleaned, why don't you buy a lower grade, problem free coin. I think a nice XF chocolate brown IHC beats a cleaned AU IHC any day. In the long run I think you would be farther ahead, and you would have a much more appealing coin.
