All I can say is WOW! If I had to guess on the grade I'll say MS-62.

Oh, I'm well away from Joe's opinion. AU55, possibly details for an old (but perhaps market acceptable) cleaning.

I'm not seeing wear or a cleaning, I''ll go MS62 with amazing eye appeal!

I have a feeling that this coin is a slightly weak strike. The eagle's eyebrow and leading edges of the wings are a little flat, but other high points do not show flat areas anywhere near as much. For this reason, I will say AU58. I really like the toning, perhaps a TPG may not. From a distance it would tend to look dark.

morgandude - the link didnt show me a coin directly. Which coin were you referring to? I'm not him, but perhaps I'm one or two steps removed? I bought it from what I believe to be just a collector, not a dealer, on another board. Here is the coin (with the correct attribution as listed by morgandude).. Perhaps I should consider the reconsideration policy at PCGS for the OGH's on this one.. Need to get the loupe out to see if there is any real wear.

AU 53 seems conservative, but it's eye appeal speaks for itself.

Good candidate for a re-grade or CAC. Assuming PCGS didn't miss it completely and that it is circulated, AU58 would seem to be the correct grade.
