Highest bid I see is $135 or so. But all of them currently are stock photos, with one using a picture from a CBS news release (the note held in-hand)

I was going to pick up a few dozen of the new bills and look for radars, repeaters, etc. No go, the bank teller said they won't have theirs until next week.

Sounds like some presells. My banks says they don't have a determined time frame that they will receive them.

One is at $305 with 27 bids in Hialeah, Fl. Anyone live there. The pic is a specimen, so most likely doesn't even have them yet.

Wow, I see one new $100 bill on ebay bid up to $305. The note pictured has serial number JB00000000T but if you read the rest of the listing the actual bill offered has no special serial number LF42682214B. I think somebody's getting taken for a ride.

Best Regards,

George

I'll get some of the new hundreds. Even if the id #'s are not special...well...it is still money after all.

Weren't these supposed to come out 4 years ago?

Top bid is up over $350. Can't honestly say I could see myself paying more than face for something that's going to be flooding into circulation soon.
Rest in Peace

Yeah, I heard something about that on the news. They said there was a production problem.

Production Problem = what you get when you pay engineers half of what they were earning 30 years ago

So far everyone I've seen has been a series 2009-A printed at FW and for the Richmond, VA FR Bank. Has anyone seen any series 2009 printed in DC or FW.

I * think * that most series 2009 notes were destroyed due to the creasing error, though uspapermoney.info does show printing and serial number information for that series. The BEP site still shows an image of a 2009 one, but the recent ones I saw (at the Dallas Fed open house, ANA show) were all 2009As.

Also, does anyone else think the new watermark makes Ben Franklin look like a blobfish?
