Your looking at around $1500 USD if problem free. D0ubl3Eagle Pillar of the Community United States 5854 Posts	Posted 10/10/2013 11:56 pm I think this coin grades around AU-50. I think the softness in the hair behind the ear and on the eagle's leg is the result of a weak strike rather than wear. Those areas look slightly rounded which I typically associate with a weak strike instead of flat and dark surfaces from wear. When comparing this example to others online, many of them are soft in the same spots. Here's one example from Heritage that is weak in the same areas: http://coins.ha.com/c/item.zx?saleN...6&lotNo=2185 If it is slabbed a problem free AU-50, it could auction for around $2800.
