hmmm the S did not come through well, going to try and retake the reverse.

The case has a smudge over the branch stem area.

It appears to have a detached olive branch reverse.

I guess it's AU-50

Perhaps, you could clean the slab with a 100% cotton cloth. It won't scratch it.

MS63 I'm not sure it's wear, but if so from the photos it could go AU53.

I'll go outside the already wide range and call it MS64.

Although it kinda looks like wear, I can't see why anyone would grade circulated 1922-S dollar.

As for the MS grade, the only major problem I see is the reverse rim nick, and I think it could make 64.

The reverse looks to have much better luster than the obverse. Could go either way, but I will go out on a limb with MS64

This coin has a very faint bronze toning on the obverse which threw some people off I think.
