Everything depends on many things. With the grey sheet handy it is nice to be able to look up a price of a coin without turning on a computer. It is the best reference for prices since everywhere I go most people use it. The Red Book is now a joke since it comes out almost a year in advance and is full of errors. The one thing I don't like is when things come in the mail that represents a possible monitary stash in the household. Of course this is due to the location I live. Example is here in the Chicago area not many people want mail such s gun, knife, coin, stamp magazines or newsletters. If they are to large they stick out of mail boxes and that would be as good as posting a sign on your roof saying valuables here, want some? We have way to many stolen items from the mail, lost mail, scattered mail, etc. to ever want anything that indicates anything of value.
