My answer to Dansco trying to force me to include an error coin in a circulation collection. Hey, there's no D on it!

I have all of them except 09 S, 09 VDB S, and the 14 D. Most of the pennies from 35 on are uncirculated. 39 on are all uncirculated. I love that collection, I've been slowly saving for the 'big 3' so I can get really nice examples (hopefully XF-AU). May be a while, but I love this series.

I have the all of them too, but am missing the following:
1909 S 1909 S VDB 1914 D 1922 plain 1931 S
I had a chance on a nice 1931-S for $40 last year, but passed on it. Now I'm kicking myself for that.

WOW ... a lot of nice Lincoln sets being posted Instead of posting all those pages .. mine looks like most of the other Dansco 8100, all filled except .. my 1909S vdb and 1914 D are in slabs and there is a blank in the 1922 no D hole. 1972 DDO is in my type set. Here is a group picture of all my U.S. cents, a large part of them are Wheats.

This is from page one of my set #1. The entire set looks like this from 1909 to present. I'd post the rest of the Album but they are in photobucket and I'm going nuts trying to figure out how to use them since they changed it all.

Hello CCF! Seems like an old thread but i'd like to post any way I have pictures but they're hardly worth posting. I have 259 cents in my collection between 1909 and 2009 that includes several major varieties. Still have the following to go for the date set. 1909-S V.D.B. 1914-D Wish list, major varieties. 1922 No D* 1955 DDO1970-S Sm Dt 1984 Doubled Ear 1995 DDOand the 1958 DDO if I ever win the lottery *Oddly enough I have the 1922 weak D and not a regular 1922-D. I'm thinking it would still be cool to find that one rather than buy it. Cheers!

I suppose this was a worthy necro-bump, if only because I got to see these amazing sets again.

It only took over 4 decades, but I'm down to only needing a 1914-D to complete my Wheaties. Well, my Dansco album says I also need a 1922 plain. Not sure if I'm going to get that one or not. To me, it's an error. Hmmmm.

Wow, GR58. That's a sweet collection. I'm sure it's only gotten better since this thread.

Well since I didn't post in the old thread, I will post now. I am down to just needing an 09-S VDB. Just bought an uncirculated 09-S (non-VDB) so in addition to the S-VDB, down to needing 13-S, 15-S and 24-D to complete my (mostly) uncirculated set (no easy task on those last few). No plans on a 22 plain - that's just a worn out die coin to me. Oh, and the 14-D is gonna stay brown. Can't see ever affording one of those in uncirculated unless I win Powerball. My Memorial pictures could use some updates - I've added a small date 70-S as well as a number of upgrades since.
