What would she grade in your opinion? I'm thinking MS63.

I think it could grade MS-65. Nice coin!

It looks far better than a MS63, the fields and rays are very, very nice. It should go MS65 at a top TPG. If it were mine, I'd send it to PCGS and expect a 65 and hope for a 66. It looks that good.

MS63.
Double Eagles have lots of surface area to get damaged, and the metal is softer than 90% silver or bronze.
For this reason, it is a tough job to find these coins in higher MS grades.
Nevertheless, a pleasing coin.

I'm thinking AU-58.
I believe I see some breaks in the luster in a few spots.

I think MS64 isn't out of line, but the key is Liberty's leg and knee area, any little spot of wear will knock it down quick. Don't see that many distracting marks so a 64 grade is a really good bet on this beauty!
