Hey Guys!

I have this set of Japanese coins that some old relative brought over from Japan. Anyone have any info on the set itself? I have already priced the coins and it's around $5-$10. Just lookin for some more info if any. Thanks!

With coins covering the whole 100-year period, it's not going to be an official government set. It was presumably sold as a souvenir piece in 1968 for the centennial. I doubt it would be worth more than the sum of it's component coins.

It's just a custom made set, not government packed and these are relatively low valued coins.

I obtained the same set for 6 euro in the Netherlands and it is a piece of history in between 1868-1968.
