kanga Pillar of the Community United States 5825 Posts	Posted 10/19/2013 09:55 am The problem with a darkly toned coin is that the TPG's might ignore it. Reason. They won't be able to tell if the toning is covering up some sort of problem, particularly a cleaning. I had an 1894 Morgan that I felt was XF. It was very darkly toned. The TPG I sent it into (PCGS?) didn't want to have anything to do with it. It got body bagged (this was years ago before they slabbed things "Genuine"). Report this Post to the Staff
