The problem with a darkly toned coin is that the TPG's might ignore it.
Reason.
They won't be able to tell if the toning is covering up some sort of problem, particularly a cleaning.
I had an 1894 Morgan that I felt was XF.
It was very darkly toned.
The TPG I sent it into (PCGS?) didn't want to have anything to do with it.
It got body bagged (this was years ago before they slabbed things "Genuine").
