Very dark coin, raw, consensus ats was around VF25..
Any opinions here appreciated, thanks!

VF25 or 30 details, is it dark from corrosion? It does have the look of a dug coin or one that was in fire at some point.

The problem with a darkly toned coin is that the TPG's might ignore it.
Reason.
They won't be able to tell if the toning is covering up some sort of problem, particularly a cleaning.

I had an 1894 Morgan that I felt was XF.
It was very darkly toned.
The TPG I sent it into (PCGS?) didn't want to have anything to do with it.
It got body bagged (this was years ago before they slabbed things "Genuine").

VF-25. Not sure about a details grade. Possibly. I would rather haw a coin like this than an obviously cleaned one. It is an attractive coin.

I don't see any sign of corrosion, just very dark..

25, imho. 30 details, dropped 5 for being so dark.
