I went to one my LCSs today to chat with the owner. He is a grouchy old guy, but once you get past that, he is a good guy. Anyway, I asked him for extra pages for my Danscos since the nickels, dimes and halves came to a screeching stop. He said sure, but that they came out with new albums. Oh really? I paw through his stock and lo and behold, the Jefferson album said 1938-2005 proof only issues. Unfortunately, he was sold out of the 2006 forward. He did have the 2012 forward Kennedy halves AND the new Lincoln Shield cent (2010-) album. He did not have the dimes album. So I grabbed those two. They only have two pages in them, with only the first page actually dated. The penny album is dated through 2021 and the half is through 2016. A little over lap between these and the old albums, but thats OK. I dont mind a few extra.

I hear ya, man. I might if the updates included classics that have been overlooked, but not just for the new moderns.

See, I wont do it simply because that thing is EXPENSIVE to complete. Once I get all my other Danscos done, and my Morgan collection completed, then I may consider doing that one.

Nice to know Dansco is getting some of those pages out.
I bought the Jefferson album, 2006 and up and was not happy. As you said one page was dated, the other blank, it was over $20.00
Then I see where I can order just the page, and a blank binder, or use a binder I have, and the cost would be around $10.00 or less.
I was at a out of the way coin shop today .. and picked up a used 7070 in good shape. It is missing a couple of slides .. but I think I can find some for it .. Not sure what I am going to do with it ... but hate letting it sit on a used album shelf.

I was going to place an order with valley coin and thought I would pick up another Dansco nickel album I noticed that they too listed the 1938-2006 and not the one I have which I think goes to 2016.
I think I will pass.
