Another ebay lot find. 1874 Mexico 10 centavos. Please look at the pictures.

Wow thats pretty massive doubling. I had to make sure my Drink had no alcohol in it and take a double look

Yes, it is a DDO / DDR and possibly a repunched date as well.

Sometimes that is a good thing and other times it is common. Some types of doubled die are common for the Mexican coins. But I don't know for sure if this is the case? But it is a DDO / DDR. Very nice find.

Nice find! The snake and eagle's head are doubled too.
Did you also notice the little 'ear" on the lower left of the "0" in 10?
Maybe it's a die chip, but it's so cleanly geometric.

There's one on ebay right now for like $65. Graded.

One sold last month for $40+. Graded, too.

Any thoughts on grade?

Wish I could offer an accurate estimate of value--a double doubled-die should have a nice collector premium.

Not nearly as much as it would be for a modern coin, but a premium non the less. See it up on ebay, personally I think that price is too high, but you never know.
