I understand it's an album but how does it look inside and do you buy the pages? I am looking for one that I could put my Proof Lincoln cents and Ike dollars inside. I want them to hold proofs and normal ones. I would like the cents to start from 1959. I'm just confused because of ebay.. tried to look for some for sale. And the guy said they don't come with pages.

They are good quality albums and folders. I have a few. Yes they do come with pages. Check here for different styles and types, with pictures.

You can buy albums with pages, just the pages, and even empty albums. I have most of my sets in Dansco albums and I like the extra holes at the end of the last page to fill with duplicate coins. You can also make your own set like I did for my Canadian coins using a blank binder and adding cent, nickel, and dime pages. You can save a few bucks if you like by combining different series like I did with my Mercury dime album. The binder holds 4 pages but the Mercry dime set is only 2 pages. I bought the Barber dime pages separately and added them to the album. Same thing with the Buffalo nickel folder. You can add the Shield nickel and V nickel pages to that album.

Some people don't sell the albums with pages, but you can buy the pages individually if needed. A while back, I made that mistake on ebay but it was because I failed to read the WHOLE description. Got the pages at the LCS though. I switched my main collection to Danscos and have been happy with them. No regrets at all.

I am on the fence when it comes to Dansco albums. I have never had one. I know people swear by them. But I just not sure about the level of protection. I have heard those slides that covers the coins rubs on them. That concerns me. Honestly I have always used 2x2's to store coins.

Great information guys! I plan to buy the cents - 1959 to 2009 Proofs and MS, Ike dollars - MS and Proofs, Buffalo nickels. I will buy one blank page for cents. I want to put proofs inside it. (36 holes the page got) I will put my cents from 1959 to 1998. (Proofs) This means I will have to buy extra proofs. Now I don't care that much. If you got any suggestions please post them.

Quote: I am on the fence when it comes to Dansco albums. I have never had one. I know people swear by them. Not completely true. Basically on this form most brag about Dansco. On other forums, you'll hear more about Whitman or Littleton. Still others say Harris or Intercept Shield. Just go to Google and type in coin Albums. You'll find a large variety of manufacturerss. Coin supply companies, such as Wizard coin shpply, carry a large variety. I've found that at sone coin shows all you see is Whitman. Then at other shows all you see is Dansco. If you go to the Whitman web site, you'ld see a massive variety of coin supplies including 3 different brands of Albums. Some people think one or the other is better. Sort of like a car. Every one thinks theirs is the best. As to Albums, with Whitman, as well as some others, you can purchase Ablums of all sorts including blank covers and blank pages.
