I got this radar out of the bank machine today. I noticed that the letters are also a palindrome. Is a double radar such a thing? Would this bill sell for a premium?...

No added premium.

I don't think there is an actual term for it either.

Usually people will just say Radar Prefix.

I'm taking that you want a grade because it's in the grading section... so I think around the MS-66 area. m not going higher because the corners bent.

I don't know how to grade paper, but Joseph - how could a note that has a bent corner grade so high?

You are allowed a certain number of little things like that, however, the grades differ from coins in that there is no MS. Just AU, UNC and ChUNC. This bill would qualify in my opinion as UNC.

With a bent corner this note no longer would get an UNC status...Since it is small you could probably fix the corner fold and do a dry press and you will get AU 55... perhaps 58 if you get it out pretty well.

For the polymer series it get a bit more difficult because the clear area scratches up very easy esp. going through bank machines...I personally will tolerate one or two small hair line scratches but if I am to call it UNC the clear poly usually has to be crystal clear.
