I don't think they are ancient pieces. I have no idea what they were used for.

The three chains remind me of balance scales.

If you found these in a cemetery, then I would guess they were used to hold candles or incense burners.

Put them back.... I know what they are but will not be sharing that info. Put them back in place and let the ones that are resting 'have their light'. This is a coin forum is the first thing, taking stuff from a cemetery is wrong in so many ways is the second thing.

I agree with MetDet, if these are artifacts taken from an active cemetery and not from and authorized archaeological dig than there is a moral issue in taking these pieces. They should be returned where they have been found and the dead should be respected. I'm sure that in you country there are laws in place that forbid this type of activity. Please don't post any other items that have been taken in this manner, they will not be allowed. I am locking this thread so no other comments will be allowed. Consider this post as a warning.
