but what VAM was it?

OR was it sold for a premium because it appears to be MS65 quality with a shot at a 66?

It is a nice looking coin, I'll give it that.

It's a VAM13A. Looks like MS63 is all it will make, though.

Thank you. I got as far as figuring out that it was a C reverse, but I couldn't figure it out past there.

Every Morgan or Peace dollar Made has a VAM # to attribute it too. Unless the coin is so far worn then it might be hard to do.
