Lovely coins everyone! 1919 is an unusual year for British pennies as some were minted by the private Heaton and Kings Norton mints, as well as by The Royal Mint. Here's the scarcest of the three coins - a 1919KN penny. You can also clearly see the 'ghosting' effect with the silhouette of the King's effigy visible in the field on the reverse - this problem was finally resolved in 1928 when pennies were struck with a smaller portrait on the obverse. Another 1919 KN UK penny This one has all sorts of lamination errors in the flan, turning what is a decent grade for this type into a very ugly coin  |

Belgium 1919 2c--which is also a 1919/4 overdate It's also one of the few copper coins in my collection with a milled edge.  |

Here she is again with her little sister(s). These coins are so common, I would venture to say they can be plucked from any melt tub in the U. S. of A.   They're so pretty when they're nicely toned, I can't resist 'em  |

For me, I can see some of the teen years are a little lean. I will have to did into my coin boxes .. see if I can come up with more than Lincoln and Indian cents .. Not that there is anything wrong with them. Edit - I did not mean Lincoln and Indian cents for just the teen years, was thinking for the next 50 years. I know I will posting some ...just hope I can come up with other cool coins. 1919 Lincolns  Edited by GR58
