Going through nickel rolls, then this plops out , a 1935 crown George, pictured just the way it fell out! So far, in my nickel hunting, This has only happened twice, the first time, TWO crown Georges fell out of the same roll!

Nickels 1921 and below are silver, 1921 is a very rare one.

Great find! I love when I first see a very old coin fall out of a roll. Like today's Indian Head cent. Surprise! Wasn't expecting that, and I don't think you expected that King George V nickel either!

At the Saskatoon Saskatchewan coin show couple weeks ago two of those 1921 nickels were sold......one of them went for I think 6000.oo ...........yes rare....other silver 5c are not as though..........

I imagine that these nickels are probably the last coins with the portrait of King George V left in circulation anywhere.
