I have a 1928 Peace dollar and it looks real but I don't know for sure, so if anyone could help authenticate it and possibly place a value, thatd be very helpful. thanks

Yeah haha. 1923. This date is very common. Looks authentic, post weight and diameter for better insights.

It's also got an "S" on the reverse.

Wicker,

to CCF.

I also would try to balance this coin on your finger and then lightly tap it with a small solid metal bar etc.

Then try to hear that characteristic higher-pitched ring that is indicative of a 90% Ag-alloyed genuine coin from the US mint.

fyi,

It looks like a genuine 1923-S Peace silver dollar. Value would be $20 to $25 in the condition yours is in.
