I saw pictures in one catalogue but am having difficulty distinguishing the two. I have 8 dimes acquired at different time periods and they look the same. Production numbers for each say about the same so I'd expect I might have one that is different. Maybe I need a more powerful magnifier? Flat bottoms or V-shaped bottoms -- I'm not seeing it.

Dig up a '69 for comparison,or a US dime of the era.
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...

As always, when you have one of both to look at, they're easy to tell apart, even with the naked eye...
