Hello. A gentleman wants to sell this to me. What do you think is a fair price and does it look legit? Here's what the back looks like. It is a 1995 bank of Richmond. Thanks all!

It looks like a seriously circulated under inked 1st printing $1 FRN.

Picture does not give enough details to determine whether it is a genuine BEP error or not. If the back ink is BEP green it is probably genuine. If it is a faded bluish green color it is a chemical alternation.

Are the colors on the front correct?

Thanks for the response western! Yes, the colors on front seem to look right. I'll have to request another pic from the guy or see it in person. This is the best pic of the front I have until then. What do you think a good offer would be?

Reading this with some interest ... I am a novice at bill errors and my inclination at this point is that some manipulation post printing led to the creation of this bill.

Looking forward to input from true experts.

Thanks guys. The seller wants a decent amount. Just wondering what the other experts on here think.

If you are unsure about a variety or error coin or currency buy it slabbed.

With the circ, worn condition I wouldn't want to be in it at anymore than 25$. If it was a nice crisp unc note it would be worth a couple of C notes.

My opinions are free! (That's why they aren't worth much!)
Rest in Peace

I don't see any red or blue fibers on either side of the note. Maybe they just didn't show up in the photos but they should be evident even in the blank area.

it seems pretty rough. I wouldn't pay a premium for it, but that's just me. never heard of the back ink missing. I got a 2006 $1 that looked like that but it was circulation wear and tear, and looked like it spent some time buried.

Thanks Joseph. I decided not to buy. Didn't want to chance it.
