Newfoundland $2 Gold Set Now Certified

Months back I posted images of my Newfoundland gold set. Not knowing how gold coins are graded relative to other material I decided to have the set certified to find out where it stood. Since we're talking about 22 karat gold I went with a rigid container, in this case an NGC holder. My vision of having the set displayed in uniform holders did not come to pass as my 1880 and 1881 were deemed "Not Suitable For Certification" due to damage. Those coins have since been replaced by certified examples which have been added to the other seven coins which are NGC graded. Another disappointment was not having the 1870 Obverse varieties listed on the holders; I paid for "Variety Plus" for each but was told that service is not available on world coins. Below are three images of each coin, first the holder, then the Obverse and Reverse. These images are the best I can provide with my equipment and lighting. As you will find out there is still room for improvement but at 27 I'm in no rush to sink more money into this project. Thanks for reading.
