For those that have been keeping up with my hunt for Mint Sewn bags, I have just purchased a 1960-D bag in the last few days. I was happy to get it for a price that was less than advertised.

So far in the past 60 or so days, I have purchased and opened the following mint sewn bags;
1959-D
1960-D*
1962-P
1969-P
1972-P (2)
1979-D

I went to coppercoins.com and started looking over all the varieties in the 1960-D year, and I had to do the double take... Coppercoins listings has a link next to page 10, that says "next 10 pages" which I didn't notice before. I was like WOW, this bag may be fun after all.

I think most bags I purchase in the future will be hard pressed to top my last purchase, as in the amount of varieties I found in the 1959-D mint sewn bag. That bag had over 400 total mint mark varieties, most of them were MM #039.

I understand its luck of the draw when it comes to finding varieties, and it depends on the dies which struck the coins, and amount of each in a bag...

But overall, which varieties have you found, of the 1960-D year and mint mark, or which ones appeal to you ?

Definitely the DDO #1 is the premier coin to find. I've found 3 over the course of 6 years hunting bank boxes. RPM #1 is not slouch either.

I pulled this one, 1MM-002, from circulation two weeks ago.

I really like my (1960-D/D SM DT / LG DT FS-025.5 ANACS MS64RD) Copper Lincoln in my 7070;

It has a Small Date over Large Date and a Repunched Mint Mark all in one!

My bag isn't here yet, but in due time. I was poking around in a few of the 1960-D rolls I own and I found a few weird looking ones. Nothing spectacular;

Out of 100 coins searched, I have two of these;

And one of these;
