Would like anyone's on the grade/originality of this Quarter

1917-Type-1-SLQ

Also would $55 be a good deal for this coin?

It has some nice details; small images but I don't think a low XF is out of the question. I'd want to see it uniformly a bit darker, but that might just be the photography. If the surfaces are original, $55 isn't a bad deal.

These are an online seller's pics, and I did also just notice the rim bump on the obverse at about 6:35.

I was thinking XF ish as well. Possibly dipped or could be the photo as Ddave said. Nice looking though .$55 is very good...pending the surfaces.

Looks VF30. $55 is ok but you could have done better. The 1917 Type 1 is my favourite type in the series.

I agree larger photos would be nice. It is hard to loose money on a $55 coin with full shield and rivets. Many 1917 TY1 VF's go for $70+.

EF40 it would appear, though a slightly lower grade of F15 wouldn't surprise me at all from a top tier TPG.

Looks original. First thought was XF40 but not sure if it can make it. I'd be conservative and say VF35. Rim bump may knock a few bucks off
