I am sure I will as well. Update: I have a tracking number. But no delivery date. I am sure that will be in tomorrow.

Posted this on another site but figured some other perspectives might help: Got one of these in the mail today. I like the packaging and overall look but upon close examination of the medal (setting aside for the moment any discussion on the lens scratches) I saw some odd dark pitting near Teddy's mouth... as if it's a print of him sneezing lol. Can anybody explain this?

Hair or die crack?
If it's a die crack I'd definitely keep it.

A zoomed in shot here... (the swirly line from nose to jacket is the chord for Teddy's glasses, I believe; I'm referring to the black spots between the H in "Theodore" and his chin).

odieo331: If the black spots are definitely on the surface of the medal (and not on the inner surface of the capsule), it is likely a bit of grease that got on the piece during production.
If it were mine, I would call the Mint and request a replacement.

Thanks; looks like there's a gash below the H, too. I'll pop the capsule open and take a closer look.

I had a pleasant surprise this weekend when my set arrived three days ahead of the scheduled deliver date. I love it! For what it is worth, Teddy is not sneezing on my silver medal.

jbuck - glad we convinced you to go ahead and buy the set. I am actually quite happy with the last to special sets the mint has done. The Generals set was worth the money and then to follow it up with this one - I can't complain. I am really disappointed the sales have been lacking on them.

I am glad you convinced me as well. I love both this and the Five Star Generals set. Normally I am the "buy the coin, not the container" type, but the presentation of both sets is well done and the additional historical information certainly adds value. I know it might be overkill, but now they need to create a Eisenhower Coin and Chronicles set for next year.

jbuck, Ike set is a great idea..... I would love to get one..... especially if this time, they use the Ike design on a 99.9% silver blank (maybe 1oz or 2oz size)..... crossing my finger.

Got an email saying mine shipped yesterday, and looking forward to it. I ordered based on comments and pictures here. Set may have only been better if both medals were silver, but still a good looking set.

Gold, Silver, Bronze.

If the Mint were to produce an Eisenhower Coin and Chronicles set, it would have to be made the year his gold Presidential dollar comes out.
