Whoever commented about a sudden emergence of previously undiscovered, unmelted 1921's, wouldn't that be a kick in the pants!

To much speculation guys there are no more 1921 50 cents hidden in a vault they where melted by law even if say a few showed up they could not sell them they would have to melt them (they would be sued in court by collectors who purchased any 1921 50 cent as a collector based on the fact they where suppose to be all melted again by LAW) . This is not like the gold coins they found a while back.

We will have to wait and see I guess. 2021, the hundredth anniversary is not so far away.

We down here in the States used to think the 1933 Double Eagle was a pretty rare bird, until 10 of them miraculously appeared. Rumor has it there are more of them out there.

? Matrix who is that? I am a women in my mid sixties who started collecting coins earlier this year when my late husband passed away (he use to collect a bit and I enjoyed talking to people). I do this to socialize mostly and get out of the house. I also collect stamps since I was a little younger my dad loved stamps and got me involved.
Who was Matrix? Sorry for been ignorant.
I decided to talk about this coin since someone started this topic because I was at a coin show not long ago and saw this coin in a display case and I stopped and asked some questions about it and found it to be very interesting.

We have seen, or discussed, this exact coin before... https://goccf.com/t/88950Which was then shamelessly promoted, to no avail... https://goccf.com/t/126842It was even on the PCGS Discussion Boards, until the moderator there posted, "Have you considered placing an ad for this coin on Craig's List?" ...

Now I know for a fact that it is you. Same M.O. of replying instantly to posts regarding your coin. Unless I am to believe that the following are all just coincidences: a) you happened to create your account today b) and posted in this thread about this particular 1921 50 cent c) a coin which "Matrix1980" owns and has been banned on at least two forums for spamming about it in attempts to sell it for moon money d) you just started collecting coins, yet know all this about this particular rare coin already e) your only posts to date are in this one thread f) your replying technique of putting the person's name, a blank line and then your reply is exactly what "Matrix1980" did in the past. http://forums.collectors.com/messag...eadid=847724It's okay man, just come clean and say it is your coin. We'd all be proud to own it.

BTW Coinsarethebest, . I think the paranoia from what I remarked earlier comes from the 1912/1914 gold coins unearthed at the R.C.M. vaults. Numismatists in general tend to be very down to Earth people and Conservative by nature. When the R.C.M. came out with 100+ year old coins in Mintstate last year, it was an awakening to most of us and definitely damaged the R.C.M.'s credability with Collectors across Canada, at least with me it did! Therefore, regardless of the "law" and what it implies concerning stock piles of older Mintstate coins, (I've yet to see any Government sued over this matter) I would NEVER buy a coin who's RARITY is based on a Government "melt", simply because I no longer trust the Government. Pop that beauty out of that flip. Get a spine and dunk it in acetone---get rid of the fingerprint grease and let it tone over for the next 50 years.!
