Here is a holed, silver proclamation piece of Charles IV.
Tarma, Peru.
It measures 36mm across.

Wow, I've never seen that type :)
It's not the first type I am in admiration with those commemorative issues - there are some superb ones.
I have to concentrate on my targets - but I fear I may fall in love with one of those :D
Maybe I'll start with the ones with a denomination ... there is only one or two simple types.

It's interesting, I think the shield side looks like a 8 escudos piece on this one !

Nice piece! Is this one the crown size 8 reales? I haven't seen smaller versions.

This Proclamation piece weighs 13.92 grams It is smaller than an 8R; but larger than a 4R.

It is about the thickness of my Madrid 4 reales and about the half the thickness of my Madrid 8 reales.
