I picked this up out of a junk silver box.

looks like it has been very badly cleaned.

Any opinions on is it is worth keeping in this shape?

It's worn and cleaned... I'm not sure how much it decreases in value if it's cleaned (maybe ½, ¾).... It's all up to you if you want to keep it or not.
