I'm mostly curious about value change over the years. I self-graded this coin 40 years ago when I was a kid and looked it up in the blue book. I'll tell you what I thought it was around 1973 later. Sorry in advance for picture quality.

F-12. In my opinion LIBERTY is too sharp to be Very Good, but the hair and the eagle's feathers are blending in too much to go all the way to 15.

The pics are fine by the way!

Sadly that was me. I was 11 years old and we had just gotten these from grandpa; mom thought it would be a good idea to clean some of them. I couldn't remember if this was one we cleaned, but likely it was. Oh well. Fortunately it was very few coins and the most valuable ones were already "shiny" so we left them alone.

I'm pretty sure I graded this VG and valued it $35 back then, so looks like trend has roughly tripled for this coin in 40 years.
