Ah, my favorite topic: Longacre doubling. This is common for the 3cn, especially in the early years. This thread has a discussion on it https://goccf.com/t/143514 and if you search longacre doubling on the forum you will find many more threads.

I think it was Condor who pointed out an easy way to identify Longacre Doubling was the fact that the doubling often occurs around all side of the letters.

I believe it's the same '70 as in the grading forum. Notice the scratch above "OF".

It's also quite common on my beloved 2¢ series and pretty much ever coin Christian Gobrecht designed.

I'm not aware of it on Gobrecht designed coins until AFTER Longacre took over and then not until modifications were made to the designs.
