Do you think I can return two coins from the Royal Canadian Mint over 6 months later because there is a crack on the plastic coin capsule on one of them and there are cracks on the plastic part of the speciment set for the other one? I have only noticed them now and they couldn't of been caused by me because they have been in my drawer, since I got them. Any information would help. Thanks! I discovered that some of my millennium silver quarter capsules had cracked on one side only. One looked like a mosaic. I think I posted some pics on this forum. The coins were stored in the most stable temperature, driest place you can imagine. It took 10 years, but they cracked nonetheless. Very weird indeed.

I have a cracked case as well but on the edge. I would like to get a replacement capsule too. I wonder if I qualify since the crack is not too major.
CanadianCoins1999, how did you request a replacement capsule? Do we just call the hotline? Does it matter if we don't have a rep?

How do I change the coin from one capsule to another? I can't do it without touching it!
