1972 Quarter Error On Date? - Coin Community Forum

stampvirgin Pillar of the Community United States 1247 Posts	Posted 11/24/2013 3:11 pm what the scan doesn't show, is that the 7 fades off to nothing really fast. Also the 9 fades as well. Starts out as a full strike then gets smaller and smaller (height wise). Report this Post to the Staff

Must have been bounced around in a bag for awhile before it was pulled out and shoved in a plastic bag. Report this Post to the Staff

But they are regular coin run and put into the sets. Nothing special as far a handling like you expect from a proof set. They are what they are. Report this Post to the Staff
