United States Mint is going to do a Black Friday Cyber week. This is all I know, being in Canada I've never ordered from the mint. The banner does say "savings coming soon"
Rest in Peace

Thanks for the thumbs up bpoc1. I had looked at that page earlier I wasn't sure if that is the Black Friday promotion. I had higher expectations. I'll be checking back daily to see if they start putting proof W ASEs on for 1/2 price............Hey a guy can wish can't he <<<grin>>>

I was hoping they would bring out some old coins they found laying around. Maybe some ASE's sets from 2006, 2011, or old gold from early 1900's.

Our friends to the North got a chance at some old gold and those sales went well. I can always hope.

It can't be just free shipping, Black Friday is a go big or stay home event, I'm still hoping (against all logic) that there will be something more worthwhile than free shipping.

Here I am hanging my head, my speculations of the US Mint having a real sale were wrong, wrong, wrong....I shall bang my head on the floor until good "cents" prevail.
Anyway free shipping at the US Mint if you live in the USA.
Rest in Peace

Liverpool, no big surprise. The mint only wants to make big profits from us coin lovers.

To be honest, shipping cost has always been the least of my concerns when buying from the U.S. Mint. I've had good luck with them for the most part, have dealt with far worse.

I haven't been able to get the free shipping to work. Every time I load my cart, it always has the $4.95 showing for shipping. Is anyone else having this issue or know how to get the free shipping?

Thanks.

Haven't bought anything from the US Mint in at least 10 years and a Black Friday event with "free shipping" ain't gonna make me log on to their site either!
Rest in Peace

Kurrykid, they had this offer before. When you go to final check-out the S&H charge is zero.
