They are - surprisingly - available in high Mint State grades. Not for you or me, of course, but if you want one in MS67 there are coins in slabs. You should see the NGC MS67PL. The one here should not reach $30k.

I know its not the Half Disme (only minted in 1792) but I am second guessing myself in thinking it is not called a Half Dime. Maybe the H10C on the holder is throwing me.

I'm not sure what the general public called it back then but it is normally referred to as a Half Dime. Internally at the mint they continued to refer to them has Half Dismes until 1837.
