Found this one in a change jar. In my opinion Buffalo nickels are tough to give an EXACT grade (even on the lower end of the scale), so I would like to learn. Please give a reason why you graded it what you did, diagnostic points, grading tips, etc.

Fine 12...but I wouldn't argue with anyone who calls it a VG-10.

Vg front because some of the letters blend into the rim and the weakness of the date; fine back because of an almost 2/3 horn.

I've thought over what everyone said, and I'm going to go with VG-10 on this one. Thanks, now I have something I can go on for future grading.
