The grading examples provided, actually look like the F12 and F15 are swapped.
For your coin, believe this is a high end F15 and possibly a VF.

I've noticed differences like that, sometimes one side looks worse than the previous grade, its like that in the real world too. There are subtle differences. I'm also losing resolution from me>uploader service>CCF which is not helping, so working on that. These are just for ballparking. What works for me is don't spend to much time looking at Photograde samples, just scan them quickly, get a rough grade then go back to the specimen.. Appreciate the feedback!

F15 and very nice! It's got that great, original color and eye appeal that Barber half dollar collectors love.

I won't go higher than a fine 12 on this. A solid fine 12. If it is a fine 15 then my halves need to be given an extra five points each! [I am conservative on grading all Barbers.]

Thanks much all for the input. I'm in the F12 camp myself on this one. I'm working on a low grade 20th century set of these Barber halves, this is the natural wholesome look I like for these.. Should be finished with this short set by 2025..

Hawk, A fine Barber Half is NOT a low grade coin. Because $0.50 represented a lot of purchasing power these halves were spent. And spent and spent until slick as ice. You can find all the AGs and Gs you want, but the VGs are not that common. And a fine is challenging. What do you consider a low grade? I can see your short set made up of nice VGs with a sprinkling of fines. Hunt the bargain boxes as there may be a few VGs to be found. I also like the natural look of your 1911. Good luck!

Quote: What do you consider a low grade? I can see your short set made up of nice VGs with a sprinkling of fines. I guess I would call that a low grade set. (No slicks, culls or banged up "Goods"..) Mid-grade would be VF-AU & High grade might be High AU-MS.. Some overlap of course. I prefer the look of the coin above, and I'm in no hurry. They turn up. Something I could also pass down someday that would be appreciated. I like that honest natural wear and skin on a coin. Thanks!
