That is one everybody should have in their collection! I think it looks like a coin that should be on a better list like the Hit List 40.

That is a nice one, I have two of them, one is very polished from an ex-jewlery piece the other is a nice AU with a tiny pin or staple scratch on the obverse - both of mine are slabbed ANACs and SEGS. Fantastic VAM really tough and one that has been a Rebook variety way before variety coins came into favor with collectors. Since I know the VAM I'll leave the guesses to the others, as to the grade? I'd say it's in a VF20 PCGS holder maybe a details grade as I see what looks like an eraser was used on the reverse to scrub something away.

Thanks westcoin. I might as well give the grade since the coin has been posted awhile. PCGS gave it a F15 grade. Which I think is right. It does have a small ding between 7 and 8 o'clock but the dark color of the coin makes it stand out in the picture. I don't think those were eraser marks, just dark toning where the coin was laying on something that reacted to the silver. Thanks everyone for the comments.

I like it at F15, classic for the grade.

Sweet! VAM 3 is a real rarity in any grade! Shifted Eagle, one of the big VAMs.

The scratch and black marks on the back are what is holding the grade at Fine.
