I picked up a nice Seated half dime and wanted to see what the CCF Members thought of her. I usually don't purchase RAW, but I think this one is a looker. Thank you for your interest! Sellers images.

AU55 or 58. Nice repunched date. I just see a little rubbing on the obverse and the leaves on the reverse. Awesome eye appeal. The toning like that will bring a premium.

It is a nice coin, and I am all about colorful toning....but the toning on this one concerns me. It doesn't quite look natural to me, and the progression reminds me somewhat of some AT coins I have seen on ebay. I think PCGS may call it QC, depending on the luster. How is the luster underneath?

We'll see what it looks like in hand.
I am fairly certain that it would be FS-302.

AU-53 in my opinion, have no idea if the toning is natural or not.

mid-AU50s neat repunch but yes that toning does look a little suspect.

The color (blues & golden tone) of the OP Half Dime reminds me of my 1854 Arrows Dime; Perhaps I have my blinders on?

AU53 maybe 55 I see a bunch of tiny little ticks around 2:00 obv. on the field. Date is an RPD which adds a bit to the value. I'm guessing the coin was cleaned 20+ years ago and now is retoning nicely!

Love the toning especially on the reverse; hope it's natural. Looks Au-53-Au55.

Quote: would you submit it? Sorry, muddler, yes I would, providing she passes the " in hand" test.
